Tehran has sounded a new alarm—Iran is preparing missiles to strike U.S. military bases across the Middle East if America joins the fighting next to Israel. Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh told reporters that should diplomatic talks collapse and the U.S. move from defense to offense, American bases are "within striking range"

This is serious. Iran has already unveiled its new Qassem Bassir ballistic missile, capable of precise strikes up to 1,200 km, and now says U.S. bases in Iraq, Syria, and beyond are legitimate targets. These comments come after Iran launched drones and missiles at Israel and warned it would expand attacks to include American forces.

The U.S. responded by reinforcing troops and supplied warships to the region. More than two dozen tanker aircraft and the USS Nimitz are now on alert. Washington insists this is a defensive move but warns Iran: American personnel won’t be easy targets.

President Trump has said the U.S. will only fight if Iran directly attacks Americans. But he also urged Iran to surrender unconditionally and is weighing military options while holding talks in Oman .

In simple words: Iran is flexing its missile muscles and warning U.S. bases to stay away—or face consequences. America has responded by deploying forces and saying it won’t strike first. This could be the tipping point. Will diplomacy hold? Or is the Middle East heading into a dangerous new phase?
